A word from Helen Robinett, our President.
Marie Farrugia from Time for You delivered an outstanding
presentation on balancing work and life at our August meeting. The
purpose of this presentation was to inspire members to make some
changes and take time for themselves in order to achieve success in
business and personal lives. What we got that night was far more
than we expected. Marie created an atmosphere in the room that was
conducive to some very open communication between members. It was
really quite amazing to hear about future direction, challenges and
shared success among our members. We have traditionally been known
to be very competitive with each other! The scene was set for some
very powerful conversation. These are the conversations that enable
us to think outside of ourselves and make some very real changes to
the way live our lives. I have taken the opportunity to be part of
an international task force within AICI to research how it is for
international members and how we can improve on what we do as an
international organization. It is only through review, forward
planning and working together that we really can make a difference.
I will be delighted to receive your feedback on how AICI is working
or not working for you. Looking forward to catching up with you
soon! Cheers Helen
